  As a boy growing up in Waterbury Connecticut my love hate relationship with Germany led me to undergraduate and graduate studies in German history and literature.  Following three semesters in Heidelberg Germany I lived and worked in Mainz, a city on the Rhine only ten miles from Oppenheim.  For the last twenty-five years I’ve worked in the film and video business and am co-owner of Motion Inc. (www.motioninc.com).  A documentary I wrote and directed about Alzheimer’s Disease recently won the Boston/New England Emmy for Best Documentary (www.Alzheimersfacingthefacts.org).
